Aleanna Winery

A winemaker (Alejandro Vigil) and a historian (Catena Adrianna) were immersed in time to evoke a time when European immigrants, newcomers to Argentina, they strove to produce wines as fine as those of their homelands. By 1936, Malbec and Petit Verdot were the strains most widely planted in Argentina and cutting of both was considered the best in terms of elegance and aging potential. The winery is located in the foothills of Mendoza to southern Cordillera of the Andes. Their wine ‘The Enemy symbolizes the battle of man against himself, the original enemy, the battle that defined each of the owners of this winery. It is a wine of great structure and concentration, a cut that inspires and remember the good times of the past and brings the historical and artisanal farming and winemaking strains.
