Diamandes Winery

Diamandes Winery is the fifth winery in Argentina in this group of French investors. After an investment of 15 million, will be formally opened in December in the town of Vista Flores Mendoza.

Clos de los Siete is a venture of five wineries, and this establishment closes the circle of investments originally planned. Diamandes Winery already making wine, but its official opening is scheduled for December 3 in Vista Flores, at the foot of the Andes Mountains and about 120 kilometers from the city of Mendoza.

Among those attending the inauguration is Laurent Dassault, the French billionaire owner of another of the cellars of Clos (Arrows of the Andes) and whose grandfather founded the legendary Dassault aircraft factory, manufacturers, among other models, the Mirage.

To raise the winery owner, Frenchman Jean-Jacques Bonnie with his father (also owners of Château Malartic Lagravière Bordeaux) invested $ 15 million. The choice of Mendoza, as Bonnie, passed by the qualities of Valle de Uco and cost / quality of land, much cheaper than in France. Those reasons “compensate” the fact that Argentina’s economy “can be a little unsettling.” In this sense, the French investor said: “By working with some unpredictability, as the price increase, we have some leeway. However, it is not insurmountable issues. “
